You have the following options with your excess fresh catalyst:
In addition to technical requirements based on recent cycle and current operation, it is important to consider how improved performance of the unit could result in higher refinery profitability. If the unit is a constraint in the refinery flow scheme, debottlenecking by means of improved loading (with or without hardware changes) could be attractive. Ensure that all requirements are met, including the description of the unit, any feedstock qualities and operating conditions, including hydrogen coverage. If the unit is easily operable and is not a constraint, a lower activity catalyst or a regenerated catalyst may be sufficient to generate cost savings.
